Tucker and Dale vs. Evil

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil is a movie about two hillbillies (Tucker and Dale) who are misperceived as psychotic hillbilly killers when they go on a vacation to fix up their new vacation home.  Dale, played by Tyler Labine, is an extremely smart introvert who has problems talking to girls.  This leads to the first misunderstanding between the two polarities (Hillbillies/Frat kids).  These misunderstandings escalate until the frat kids believe that Tucker and Dale have kidnapped their friend Allison (Katrina Bowden) which leads to a series of unintentional suicides by the fratters.

These suicides are quite hysterical, and a fresh approach to the played out style of slapstick humor as well as the "us vs. them" template (the movie remains very conscious of the "creating of the other" throughout the film).  Although we know what is going to happen pretty much from the get go, watching each scene is an experience that cannot be described.  Similarly to Shaun of the Dead, Tucker and Dale will more than likely gain cult recognition, and hopefully at least national recognition.  I most definitely recommend watching this movie, and even maybe making time to watch it.
